First Engine Start

The first engine start, I would like to say that it worked first time but it didn’t.  The fuel pressure was correctly providing the expected 58PSI at the fuel rail but she still only cranked but nothing else.

Back to basics, checked the wiring the TPS, CAM, Lambda and CPS sensors and a quick reversion to the “split half technique” (for those ex Military Engineers) suggested that it had to be related to the ECU.

Now the capabilities of the OMEX ECU vs. my knowledge and ability was a battle that I was never going to win and at one point it looked bleak but a quick email to OMEX Support provided me with an LS3 specific configuration and MAP file, 30 minutes later we had her fired up and breathing – now to adjust the idle and trim the air / fuel etc.
